Patricia Devilliers, DDS
Dr. DeVilliers is an oral and maxillofacial pathologist, certified by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is also certified in pediatric oral surgery, oral pathology, and dental care for children, including those with special needs such as autism.
Experience
Dr. DeVilliers practices oral and maxillofacial pathology, which covers the diagnosis and treatment of oral lesions, oral manifestations of systemic diseases, oral precancer and cancer, etc. She also provides dental treatment to infants and adolescents.
Dr. DeVilliers can administer mild sedation (laughing gas) for pediatric patients undergoing complex dental procedures, such as extractions, restorations, space maintainers, pulp therapy, and crowns in baby teeth. She can also perform simple procedures that don't require sedation, including sealants and minimally invasive procedures such as the application of medication to stop small cavities (silver diamine fluoride). Dr. DeVilliers offers oral and maxillofacial pathology services including consultations, biopsies, and dental management for patients undergoing radiation or chemotherapy.
